High Definition DVD

Got into an argument with a friend of mine the oher day about HD Dvd’s.Basically He’d bought a DVD player with an HDMI output and cable.

He was convinced that he is now watching his DVD collection in High Definition!

This is not the case… HDMI is just another way of connecting one device to another. HD Dvd players are far and few between, infact there is a war going on between HD-DVD and Blu-Ray formats.Yu gunna need one of these players to play HD.

The playsation 3 has a blu-ray player and thus can play this format.

Anywayz – there aren’t that many HD disc available as yet…
